The Tennessee Smokies are moving to old town Knoxville. The soon to be Knoxville Smokies’ new home is meant to nurture community relationships on the common ground of old school, classic, American baseball. The stadium is meant to take notes from neighboring architecture and fit right into the history-rich downtown area. Set in an industrial building shell with bright lights, are warm tones, thick textures, and echoes of the Great Smoky Mountains. Although in a new city, Homer Hound and his fans will feel right at home with the familiar colors: red and blue.
