I wanted my final senior project to be a passion project. This alcohol substance abuse center is inspired by my “client,” Sam. Sam is my significant other and he has attended a rehabilitation center before for alcoholism. I wanted to dedicate my project design to fit his perfect vision for a treatment center. Designing HorizonVoyage was a way for me to understand his disease from a different perspective while creating something that had meaning to me.
